ചേര്‍ന്തിരുന്തേന്‍ ചിവമങ്കൈതന്‍ പങ്കനൈച്

ചേര്‍ന്തിരുന്തേന്‍ ചിവന്‍ ആവടു തണ്‍തുറൈ

ചേര്‍ന്തിരുന്തേന്‍ ചിവപോതിയിന്‍ നിഴലില്‍

ചേര്‍ന്തിരുന്തേന്‍ ചിവന്‍ നാമങ്കല്‍ ഓതിയേ

അലിഞ്ഞുചേര്‍ന്നു ഞാന്‍ ശിവതന്‍ പാതിയാം ദേവനില്‍

അലിഞ്ഞുചേര്‍ന്നു ഞാന്‍ ശിവന്‍ തന്‍ മറുപാതിയില്‍

അലിഞ്ഞുചേര്‍ന്നു ഞാനീ  ശിവബോധിയിന്‍ നിഴലിലും 

അലിഞ്ഞുചേര്‍ന്നു ശിവനാമങ്ങള്‍ ഓതീ നിരന്തരം 

I remained merged, with the god, the other half of shivaa

I remained merged, with the goddess shivaa ,the life force of shiva

I remained merged , in the shade of this tree , the shiva conciousness 

I remained merged,  in my incessant  chanting of the names shiva
